Conor hails from Kerikeri in Northland, where the breathtaking beaches instilled a deep love for the ocean from a young age. At the age of 14, a surf lesson ignited a lifelong passion for surfing, turning the waves into a significant part of his life.
In a quest for personal growth and adventure, Conor took a two-year hiatus to travel across Asia and Central America. Notable experiences during this time included riding motorbikes through the stunning northern Vietnamese mountains and embarking on an unforgettable overnight hike to an active volcano in Guatemala, where the spectacle of flowing lava left an indelible mark.
Conor discovered a sweet spot between artistry and functionality, favoring designs that harmonize with their surroundings. A preference for Baches and homes that are subtly integrated into their environment, rather than grand, attention-seeking structures, reflects a deep appreciation for the natural landscape.
Plot twist, Conor also has a background in music, having played the flute throughout high school. With a history of performances and competitions, this musical talent often surprises friends and acquaintances who would not associate him with such an artistic pursuit.
With his combination of architectural expertise, adventurous spirit, and creative flair, we are super happy to welcome Conor to the ata family.
